A Word of Encouragement from Our Heart to Yours
“But no one except Lucy knew that as it circled the mast it had whispered to her, “Courage, dear heart,” and the voice, she felt sure, was Aslan’s, and with the voice a delicious smell breathed in her face.” – C.S. Lewis
Hi there friend,
There are times in our lives when everything feels a bit uncertain. Trials of body and trials of soul. There are days that seem so heavy with the weight of decisions or worry that it seems not only possible, but perhaps inevitable – to lose our joy.
Dear one, whether the current circumstances of your life or the world are pulling you toward that place of anxiety, I want to remind you that there is One who guards you that never sleeps. He knows what is pulling at our hearts and minds, and if we will just rest in His peace – He will give us joy and courage enough to see us through whatever trials we are facing.
The Lord is abundant in His mercy and will use everything for His glory and our good.
Every. single. thing.
We can rest in that promise and remember that no matter what trials we face, no matter what is happening in the world – He is our refuge and strength. He is our deliverer and healer. He is our joy.
I want to take this moment to encourage you, friend. What we do now will have a lasting impression on the hearts and minds of our children. As we face a worldwide pandemic, as political tensions run high all over the world, as we struggle inside our own homes with illnesses and wounds that only our close family may know – they are watching.
Let us remember that we belong to the mighty Lion of Judah! Let us be strong and courageous. Let us sing and shout joyfully in praise and share the reason for our hope! When we sing, we teach our children to sing.
We are the children of the Creator of the Universe and we know, without a doubt, that in the end it is He who shall reign victorious. Be bold in your love and your joy, dear friend. The example we are setting now may be the one that gives our own children strength in the face of their own trial someday.
We are raising a generation of world changers who need to see their parents suited up in the full armor of God.
In the face of a culture that delights in chaos, fear, and anxiety – let us shine like the stars with the love of our Savior and let our children know that there is nothing to fear because He holds us in the palm of His nail scarred hand.
And a Story to Brighten Your Days

I know you recorded these a year ago, but I just found them in your blog. Thank you for introducing this book. I think it is truly uplifting for the homeschool mom. Your reading voice is beautiful!
Yes! I am really enjoying this, too, and you read it so well that I’d like to finish it with your voice–but like she said above, I can only access through Chapter 11. Is there a way to hear the rest??
Are you planning on recording more chapters? I can only access through chapter 11. I’m really enjoying these!
Thank you!
