It’s Stitch Fix time!!! Yay! I know you are intrigued about these magical leggings, but I’m saving them for last because, well, I just am. I know the suspense is killing you. But bear with me because this was another amazing 5 for 5 Fix from the lovely Tina. Don’t know what Stitch Fix is? It’s an amazing personal stylist service that ships 5 incredible items to you so there’s no muss, no fuss, and no hours of shopping, just fun and fashion.
I asked for some edgier pieces for some fun. Oh. My. Stars! Here is what she sent.
This ruby red delight of a blouse is the Fun2Fun Covelin Cut Out Back Blouse. It’s hard to photograph the awesome detailing on this top, but there are triangular side panels that are the same red as the front and back but they are more sheer, like the sleeves. And then there is the back. I love the back! The skirt here is a Merona from Target that the waist has gotten too big on so I need to take it in because it’s my favorite. PiYo problems, right? 😉 And the shoes are Nine West. Which I could live in if I didn’t have to chase my two boys. And now the back of the blouse . . .
How gorgeous is that back? And while I don’t do bright reds, this deep red is perfect! I love jewel tones, don’t you?
Next we have the coveted Market & Spruce Corinna Dolman in Navy. Market & Spruce is a Stitch Fix house brand that has a penchant for knit shirts that are snuggle-me-please soft. Whenever one of these beauties comes up on the BST page I mentioned last time, they go oh so fast! Because they are amazing. You should request one in your next Fix. Seriously.
The jeans are Kut from the Kloth Maribel Distressed Straight Leg jeans. Soooo comfy. Kut may actually be my favorite brand of jeans now. I’ve never had a “favorite” jeans brand before. But all my Kut’s are so easy to care for and holding up amazingly well! The other great thing about these is there isn’t a ton of distressing, but the knee “hole” is completely reinforced so I don’t have to worry about having a huge rip show up in my new jeans. I’m debating on reinforcing the spot below the pocket since my 3 year old likes to pick at holes, tears, etc. In fact, I think I just decided I probably should.
Next up is the Loveappella Abbey Cold Shoulder Knit Top. This piece is so fun and versatile The top is actually a beautiful mesh across the shoulders and the body of the shirt is cut with a sweetheart detail that the mesh attaches to. The drape of this top is just dreamy and so forgiving! It would be perfect under a blazer or cardigan at the office and then just change shoes and remove the outer layer for after work cocktails with the girls.
And . . . . Ta da! The Lysse Morissa Faux Leather Detail Legging.
What makes these so special? Well for starters, check out the detailing. <3 Big puffy hearts! The style is very chic but the leather detail adds some sass that makes these perfect for everyday wear. Second, they are a super forgiving thick ponte type fabric. They are totally cool to wear as pants, unlike a lot of department store “leggings”. Third, they have a high waist to camouflage mommy pooch. Fourth, the Lysse leggings work extraordinarily well for PiYo/Yoga followed by running errands, picking up the little at preschool, hanging out with friends, or changing shirts, adding jewelry, and heading out for some mommy time. Again, so you can request these, it’s the Lysse Morissa Faux Leather Detail Legging. You need them, trust me.
Ahhhhhhmazing, right? I used to wonder at women who spent what I thought was exorbitant money on workout wear that could “wear” many other ways. Hand to forehead smack . Now I know why.
And that, my loves, was Fix number 8. I think for fix number 9, I’m going to see about some cobalt blue pants and maybe a leopard print clutch just for fun . Let me see your latest Stitch Fix posts, too! If you haven’t set up your Fixes yet, you can do that here. It’s too much fun to miss out on!
