2014 is just days away. And this is the verse I keep coming back to to go along with my word Simplify.

Love one another with brotherly affection. Love everyone you meet the way you love your siblings. Not even your biological siblings, but your brothers and sisters in Christ. Untarnished and completely surrendered love. Because Love Does stuff. (If you haven’t read Love Does, please put it on your 2014 list. It is amazing.)

Love puts others first. Love denies self to serve others. Love lets the messes go and enjoys the moments. (Homeschool moms, can I get an Amen?) Love lets God chisel. Love gets uncomfortable sometimes. Love is simple, uncluttered, bright.

Bright, simple, uncluttered, surrendered, loving, putting others before myself. Getting rid of the noise and the excess, letting God have it all. Doing all the things I’ve been wanting to for such a long time.
