Resurrection Week Craft for Children
We’ll be reading and learning about the Resurrection this week, so I thought a little piece on the table would be a great reminder of what we need to focus on. I painted and modge podged a small clay pot, added a rainbow bush, and made three crosses from twigs in our back yard. Mr. T and I will hopefully get a clay tomb and rock made this week to put in with the plants.
I have to say, though, I really like having this as a centerpiece and think it may become a permanent part of our dining experience. I love reminders of how good God is, and what an amazing sacrifice He gave so that we, as undeserving as we are, could become part of His family.
What are you doing to celebrate this holy week?
Amazing would love to do this ! For my home and family members
Hi, I would love to have the instructions for this garden. I work at a senior center and I think this would be an awesome craft for them to do. Thank you for sharing!!
This is so lovely. I want to make one as well! Thank you for this sweet post.
Thank you for stopping by, Cat! We are going to make a new one this year. It’s a fun and sweet tradition for the boys.
