It’s almost Christmas! The day we celebrate the birth of our Savior who was born to teach, lead, and sacrifice Himself so that we could have hope to one day be with Him and our Heavenly Father. I pray that each of you has a blessed Christmas filled with love and the Light of the World.
Hot spiced tea is a wonderful way to make your house smell fantastic and is a quick and easy drink to pull together for a family get-together. This recipe keeps in the fridge for up to 3 weeks and is great served over ice, too.
What you need:
7 cups of water
8 Earl Grey tea bags (I’m a fan of The Republic of Tea Earl Greyer)
8-10 whole cloves (in a tea strainer for ease, if you have on)
2 cinnamon sticks
4 cups pineapple juice
4 cups orange juice
1 container of frozen lemonade, thawed
1 cup of sugar
Add the water, cinnamon and cloves to a large pot and bring to a boil. Add the tea bags and let steep for 5-7 minutes and reduce heat to med/low. Remove the tea bags and the cloves. Pour in the sugar and stir till it is dissolved. Add in the juices and lemonade and stir. Heat over medium heat until heated through. Sit down and enjoy!
Yum!!! 🙂
