God is Always Good even when life is hard
Teaching our children that God is always good is sometimes very hard. Finding the right scripture, explaining it just so, and not letting the feeling that “I could mess this whole conversation up” take over can be a bit of a challenge. Especially if it is something that you, too, find difficult.

God is Always Good is a wonderful book that explains simply and thoroughly many big ideas in a way that young children can understand. A few of the topics covered include:
- What is God Like?
- Does God make bad things happen?
- Dealing with death
- God never changes
Each concept is introduced as a conversation between a mama and young rabbit and includes a scripture to help give your child a Biblical reference point.
We really enjoyed the lovely illustrations, which you can see a sampling of in the flip book here. The layout is easy to follow and Mr. T loves it! He’s in a stage of wanting to be read to while snuggling, so I don’t have any pictures of him listening as I’m all too happy to oblige with the snuggles and leave the camera in it’s bag. 🙂 I’m sure you understand!
God is Always Good is a beautiful padded cover book that is perfect of gift giving. It would be a wonderful book for a Baptism or birthday or Christmas (which is coming up soon!). It is from Tommy Nelson Publishers, by Tama Fortner with illustrations by Veronica Vasylenko, and you can enter below to win your very own copy!
