Kiwi Crate Learning Fun
Busy moms: We love creative projects. We love crafts. We love glue, sticky foam, scissors and tape! We, I mean I, don’t love how much time it takes to collect, create, gather, and execute successful fun crafts that encourage learning and creativity. It takes so long sometimes, especially trying to do it around two bouncing boys! What’s a busy mom to do?
Disclosure: I was provided with free product for review and was compensated for my time. All opinions are honest and my own and I was not required to give a positive review.
Enter Kiwi Crate! This small box of ready to go crafts, games, and ideas came quietly to our door one hot afternoon. Mr. T loves to get the packages off the front porch and was beyond excited when I told him it was his! He opened the box and tore right into it! There was one “wow” after another and a huge grin!
Kiwi Crate provides everything you need for two big craft projects as well as direction booklets, a fun set of puppets to use with the box, scissors in your first crate, a sticker chart to keep track of your crates, and a booklet that has games and more educational information to correlate with your crate’s activities. When your child opens their Kiwi Crate box, it’s like a birthday surprise every month because there are so many fun goodies and activities!
Our crate had two activities in it, one was to make flags from different countries and another was to make a world map landmark game. We chose the flags to do first, and while on vacation. I can’t tell you what a relief it was to have a fun, easy to carry, already put together activity there for Mr. T while he was, ahem, patiently waiting for everyone to get ready to go out.
He loved it! It took him about 15 minutes to follow the directions and he only needed a tiny bit of help figuring out how to cut the sticky felt and help stringing the flags. He even made his own flag! And he was completely enamored with the “I can do it myself” ease of Kiwi Crate. So was I! 🙂
