So we had a huge and wonderful big brother party for Mr. T when Mr. F came along! The theme was Cars, Mr. T’s absolute favorite movie. We wanted Mr. T to feel special, too, since his world was being totally rocked by a super tired mommy and this new bundle of squirmy, loud, stinky, needy joy. And it worked great! For about 2 weeks 🙂 But we all had fun and I hope you can get some great ideas from what we did!
I got a lot of fun inspiration from Pinterest. I get a lot of our school ideas there, as well as a lot of crafts both for the boys and myself. If you want to check out all the fun things we have there, follow me here. And leave me a comment so I can follow you back!
Mr. J built this awesome kid wash that was the hit of the day! It’s a neat design of PVC with little holes drilled into it for the water to come out of and pool noodles for the “wash” part. The kids had a blast! And the bonus was that it is easy to take apart and reassemble so we’ve got it to use again!
We made cardboard race cars for the kids and used traffic cones to make a track and had green and checkered race flags for all the races. Mr. T loved his Lightening so much it’s still here.
The little brother who was responsible for us having the party. He slept through the whole thing!
We had a Lightening McQueen pull string pinata that the kids loved. I definitely recommend a pull string pinata with little ones. It’s much safer and takes a lot less time!
We made giant bubble wands from cotton string, tiny screw in o-rings and wooden dowels. And we made giant bubble solution. It’s a mixture of original dawn, corn syrup and water. And it’s awesome!
